Homemade Dinners :)
1. BBQ Chicken. Green Onions & Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Grilled Mushrooms, Eggplant & Zucchini.
2. Black Bean & Garlic Chicken. Brown Rice. Grilled Eggplant & Zucchini.
Had a little lunch date yesterday with my brother & sister @ The new Chinese Restaurant that opened by my house. The prices are fairly cheap, the service wasn’t horrible, and the food quality was good for what it was worth. The lunch specials consisted mainly of meals that were $5.99. It’s nice to know I only have to travel 2 minutes for Deep Fried Chili Turnips & Deep Fried Tofu, instead of having to go to Congee King or Congee Queen. Once I remember the name of this restaurant I’ll post it here, just in case anyone was interested in trying it out!
This weekend has been filled with way too much food, but it’s just sooo much cheaper to stay in then it is to eat out. However, I think we’re going to do this more often.
On Friday my friend made spaghetti (didn’t take a pic). I tried to help but I don’t think he trusts me. Sooo good despite its lack of ketchup!
On Saturday, my brother’s friend’s wife made breaded shrimp and lumpia (first pic). It was so amazing…I requested it for my birthday!. Aileen, if you’re reading this: JUNE 21st :)
And today I spent some QT with two of my favorite people and we made Chicken, roast potatoes, homemade tzatziki sauce and Greek salad (pic 2 + 3) Sooo delicious my whole family enjoyed it as well! Our next attempt is going to be sushi….which should be interesting.
